The first event of 2022 is the Farm Toy Show. It’s coming up fast.

Buy, sell, trade, or just look around. Come see antiques, classics, and even new toys of all kinds; enough to thrill both children and all those young at heart. Don’t have a collection yet? This is a great opportunity to start! General admission is only $3, and children under 12 get in free. Food will be available on site. Have questions? We are now only ONE MONTH away from the start of the 2021 Montgomery County Old Threshers Show! Time to get your exhibits all finished up and reserve your camper and flea market spots.

When: August 20-22, 2021
Location: Montgomery County Fairgrounds

Featured Tractor: Minneapolis-Moline & Oddballs
Featured Gas Engine: Fuller Johnson

Overview: Experience the “Way it Was” with antique farm machinery, flea market, arts & crafts, kids games, tractor games, Dutch-oven cooking, antique cars and trucks, cross-cut saw contest, great music, fiddle contest and much, much more. Food stand available on the grounds. Admission buttons cost $8 and are good for all three days. Children under 12 get in free!

New events this year:

Dutch oven cooking contest. Due to space constraints we are limiting this event to just 10 teams.

June 19, 2021 fast approaches. It is time to get your registrations in for the 2021 Tractor Cruise. $35 registers ONE tractor and ONE driver and includes a single meal ticket for lunch. Additional meal tickets can be purchased for $10 each, but if you do not do this in advance your plate is not guaranteed. When the meal tickets run out there will be no extra food, so REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

The cruise departs at 9am sharp from Howard’s Welding Shop in Montgomery City (next to MFA where there is trailer parking). The route will proceed left down HWY 161, turn right at HWY V, and will pause at the Bellflower fire department for a restroom break. Afterward, the route will depart on HWY E, turn right onto Melvin Road, proceed and turn left to 7UP Road, turn left onto Prices Branch Road, then turn right at HWY JJ, finally turning left onto HWY F and going into High Hill. Lunch will be served at the church. The return route will be left on HWY F, left onto HWY V then left onto HWY 161 and returning to the start point where there will be a drawing for door prizes to end the event.
